Sound problems

Hi people new to the forum, have an old sterview box and also a box super. question is i keep losing the sound on some of the channels any idea why ? also can i download any firmware upgrades via my laptop have heard you cant do it cause it dont have an rs232 port

if your loosin sound it looks like an up date needed starview 3 8.00 is the latest firmware for that one ....starview 1 v4.01 latest you also need a usb to rs232 lead if your using a laptop

but as is box is working that is only v4 with the crypt patch added,when was the last time u factory reset and auto scanned ur provider to re align frequency of channels? and dont forget to switch emu back on.

menu-factory settings-ok-0000 to delete-installation/power off box/on and go thru ur automatic scan on u r provider and finally emu to on,
make sure when u scan with direct feed no splitters or extensions.
