Starview 1 - help updating needed!!

Hi, Looking for help updating a starview 1 (i think its a starview 1 anyway).
Im assuming its not been updated since the key change update in april.
I downloaded the fix update from the download section... "Starview 1 Fix Clone Safe (18-4-8)" After much footering i got it downloaded to the box and it seemed to take it, But after rebooting its still just getting FTA channels.

Any help would be much appreciated. Dboxes and Dreamboxes are usually my department but just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with this one please.
    Thanks.

Press menu, type 1570 on remote and turn key emu on.

        Starview 1 - Latest software?

Can anybody tell me whats the latest software for this box. At present it's running on 4.00e_E Boot ver 7.0. I've been losing channels over the past few weeks and even after updating, i'm still missing or getting frozen channels. Any one help. Thanks

Loosing channels is usually a signal strength related problem.

If premium channels are still clearing, the firmware is doing it's job.

Maybe flash the firmware again. The last firmware rev for this box was 10/04/08 (in download section).

As Devilfish said it could be signal related. But if TPs have move you need to do a factory reset, turn key emu back on and rescan.

You say you have V4.00 is this patched with the Cryptstar fix?

              Thanks for the replies

I'll try the software (10/04/08) from the download section and see if that helps. Cheers
