starview the box super lost channels

hi guys new to this site n crap at tech stuff,here is my problem,i have starview the boxsuper,i lost a couple of channels ie ceebbies,crime&investigation still had majority of channels like sky sports etc.i did a new scan etc stil dint have these channels so i did a factory reset made sure emu was on and pressed default and then exited to channel 511. it was a black screen and said data is being updated and went up to 100 percent,but no channel and this message is just constantly up.now i have no channels except the free ones!have the codes somehow changed or is my box nackered??please help!system info THE BOX Super API ver:8.00e_E Boot ver:8.0 20.jun.2008,any help would be much appreciated,thanks!

What area do you live in as it may have been hit by nagra 3,there are lots of posts on here about nagra 3,if you haven't been hit by nagra3 have a look in the downlands section at the top of the page to see of you have the latest firmware installed.

turn your box off from the rear wait a couple of minutes and rescan again..

i live in a town called immingham near grimsby in north east lincolnshire,my mate sorted all the firmware out etc so i couldnt tell u maybe thats it,i will have a word with him if i cant get it sorted,thanks alot mate

check menu, system info, ... 2nd line down should be 8.02 or 8.04.. but think you said 8.0 ,june 2008.. cant sus out how you have been getting any channels...

yeah system info this is wot it says ' THE BOX Super,API ver : 8.00e_E,Boot ver : 8.00, 20.Jun.2008' it definately says 8.0..

so you need 8.04... need an rs32 cable to d/load firmware from pc to box. but may be too latewith nag3 due...
