problem with bin file

I'm trying to download the firmware for my new starview 5 box onto my usb. This is the first time that I've ever attempted this and I'm really sorry as I have looked all over and I just don't know how to open a .bin file without a burning programme. I found the firmware but now I'm stuck as I can't open a .bin file in order to put it onto my usb stick. Please can somebody help. Thanks

I guess I'm just looking for a program to open a binary file.

It says

answered in other post, just drag and drop onto usb pen, then follow rest of instructions.
