Help Needed PLEASE!!!

I have recently bought a Starview 3 (The super box) set and am having trouble. I have now downloaded the firmware but i cant connect the null cable (9 pin female to 9 pin female) to my pc. It connects ok to the back of the cable box but how or where do i get an adaptor from that fits my 15 hole port on my pc. Also if i do get it working someone has told me it can crash now and agfain so i may need a code to get it back working??

You need a serial port on your pc.

You could try a usb top serial cable or try an older pc. Most new pcs dont have serial ports anymore.

This is the only way you'll be able to fix your box unless you have an image on it already and connect via FTP to the box.

Read up on a couple of the stickys in the cable section.
