starview 4 the box super usb missing channels

hi. i have the box super usb and have recently had to do a factory reset and rescan. however since doing this i have lost national geographic and plus 1, nat geo wild, discover turbo, history and all the ~~~~ and ppv channels.

the channels are still showing on the epg as been there however when selected a black screen is all i get. all the other channels are working fine (for now anyway).

I wondered if anyone knows the manual scan frequancys so i can try installing them that way rather than auto scan.

where are you, could be nagra 3 kicking in, have cards for virgin boxes been delivered to your area?

from your 1st post in feb!!! you are in leicester .so you should know about nag3!! or not???

scan from direct feed no splitters.

yeah leicestershire mate. i dont think its nag 3 cause still getting all the other channels also a friend of mine hasnt had a new card yet. i am aware its something of the near future however.

i tried direct from feed earlier and still no joy. i lost a few channels in the past but was told to put in a frequancy in manual scan and they all came back. it was something like 216.000 or somet but cant remember, and was kinda thinking it was a simular problem.

you could try on other providers, helps sometimes.

does it have usb and lan stright from internet, because you need both of them to up scale the firmwear, i have just got my self a sv 6 brill,

not to sure about the lan but it as a usb socket. i had to update the firmware via dongal a few month back. i believe it was 1.12 or something like that. i will try a telewest scan as i havent tried that yet.

i was thinking of investing in a new starview as i only have the one box, but heard so many places have lost all the channels and that nag 3 is something of the near future everywhere i was gonna hang tight a while untill the next nag 3 cracked box is available. if one does become available anyway

i dont think its nag 3 here yet cause still getting a lot of channels. sports 1 - 4 and all movies etc. also my friend has not recieved a viewing card as of yet
