Starview 6 some channels Not working

    Starview 6 some channels Not working

    Hi just bought a starview 6 about 2 or 3 hours ago(bought with the software only put on this morning)Just after plugging it in and When I plugged in the lan,scart,cable line most channels worked but on sly sports 1 and Disney Chanel and they are saying scrambled also some other channels are too.
    Are these channels not working ?
    Please help me want to see the ireland match

      Reboot your router/modem and check again. Seems to be problems in that and other areas lately.

      Also scan from the main incoming feed for your initial set up, make sure there are no splitters, (these can go back after scan). And make sure emu is enabled.

              Did you flash it yourself, if so which bin file did you use? If it is flashed with the correct firmware, factory reset, rescan and turn emu back on.

              But as said I know of a few areas that are having problems related to the CS side of your box and as so it is your supplier who can remedy this. But if no one else in your area is down using the SV6, then do as said above.

                  The person I bought the box off put the firmware on
                  When I go into system information it says :
                  SW : GUINNESS-1.00.0-UKC(MAY 08)
                  LDR : 01.13(0909)
                  HW : IRM-1.00-IR-300C-8-0
                  RAM : 32MB,ROM 2MB(066%)EK
                  01.56

                      That is the correct firmware. Follow the readme here Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 6 Ireland Firmware V1.00 (No need to download the firmware or follow the flash part).

                      Check you are following the correct set up. Other than that it is a server problem which I cannot help with as it is a supplier/CS issue.

                          It is a known problem with some of the channels not working with starview 6 esp some of the kiddies channels, over time this will get better and more channels will come online

                              Starview 6 problem

                              hi guys
                              i have sv6, i have been having lot of problems with it, recently i updated the firmware from carl1.00 to carl 1.10 however this morning all chanles are gone off, is this to do withh cs or am i not using correct firmware, do i need to use groovrider file with sv6 also?
