    Hello
Have you tried a rescan or do you have the latest firmware on your box?I don't think Coventry has been hit by nagra 3 yet,But check the posts on "areas receiving new cards"
If it is a nagra 3 issue no box will fix this.

If nag 3 is the case for coventry, your options are Starview 6 (tried and tested by me, works great a few channels missing but they will come on over time & probably the cheapest box on the market), Starview Combo (HD version, currently got known glitching problems in some areas and is at least ?50 more than SV6, also a few channels missing). The combo is a great box as its capable of handling satellite and cable all in one box.I'm sure a software fix should resolve that so keep an eye on it

The kryptview u have 2 options either buy a A750 model with a I connector device (slightly bigger than a box of 20 fags) or u can buy the newer latest model which is DM500 which is a HD version, The kryptview is by far the best box but it also comes at a price. All channels working.

Both brands named above will only work via cs, so u must have a internet connection to the box for it to work, Both starviews have a ethernet ports so getting connected the net is straight forward, the A750 does not have a ethernet port which is why you must have the I-connector device which retails for approx ?100. Hope this helps.

The kryptviews are worth the extra money from my exp cos whenever stuff goes down, the kryptview bandwagon has the quickest fix avail and starview are always playing catch up. But if your on tight budget then starviews it is. Both brands are very well supported.

the A750 does not have a ethernet port
But the A780 does and so I would recommend that as opposed to the A750 Iconn combo.

Cable CS is a poor second to Sat CS so I would recommend reading into that. There are many sites outside of here that will give you all the info you require on cardsharing.

Sat CS is also a option I considered but turned it down as the costs go up and i did not want a dish attached to my wall (cosmetic reasons). You'll get alot more channels with satellite that is def true. All depends how much and what u watch. As for the A780 its the first I've heard of it must be a very new device. I'll have to have a read on it

Get into the grip of Starview & Co. and watch the costs go up How many reincarnations have we seen now, when effectively some of the older models can quite easily be adapted for CS.

I do however understand not all people like the aesthetics of having a dish on their property.

A780 is the same as the A750 but with an onboard ethernet port, some info here http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...elease-120009/

Fair enough Starview have made loads of boxes and i'm sure they'll continue the trend but its like with anything. You pay for what you get. I have SV6 and I'm giving a honest review so other can make a better decision. I don't doubt for a second kryptview is not the daddy of all cable boxes but if your like me and u need to buy 2-3 boxes the starview costs in comparison look alot more attractive. I'm a bit biased anyway cos my relationship with starview starts from SV1 which was my very first box

I can compare all previous models, new, old and before the Starview. What it comes down to is support, cheaper does not make better in the long run.

Some servers will be easier to take down than others.

C/S, N3 on cable is all new terrotory so don't know what is going to happen, I reckon VM know they make hardly any money via tele, but they know people will use internet for c/s, so i guess they are hoping people will ring them so they can sub to internet.

Cable internet is alot more stable and faster than BT stuff, so needing a stable internet is vital for C/S to work. They'll probably wait to see whats what before they do anything drastic. Plus currently they are throwing all sorts of very reasonable offers for tele packages in the hope people will sub and they are
