hi, lost all channels and did the normal, but had 2 change 2 chorus cork . in automatic scan picks up all channels when i exit freeview channels all work, slysp*rts 1, slym*vies premier+1 and the dirt channels all other channels still giving system info but no pic or sound, can anyone point me in the right direction.

any1 that could help would sort out a massive headache

I have a starview 4 usb in belfast and only get channels when scanning chorus , nothing on NTL, i can get sky sports 1 but not 2,3 or 4 plus a lot of other channels are just blank, even if they are on the EPG.

FIXED

flashed to new firmware 1.12 sorted my problem and I now have all channels back. my firmware was at 1.07

Hi all, I too am from Belfast and have lost my channels, I have the box super 3, I lost them on the 26th and apparently Virgin changed something around then. (I am not tech savvy). I have scanned chorus, ntl, tw, chorus cork. I get channels on all them bar ntl??? when the scan finishes and I exit I have a random channel ie at the races, disney etc but when I go to bbc it says channel changed please wait for saving then the screen goes blank.

Am I right in thinking typing 0000 does a factory reset? I have API version 8.04e-E, Boot ver: 8.0 22 dec 2008.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

FIXED

flashed to new firmware 1.12 sorted my problem and I now have all channels back. my firmware was at 1.07

The firmware above is for the sv4 usb you have a sv3!!! the latest firmware is in the red stickies at the top of the sv page.

my starview 4 is now working in belfast wouldnt pick up channels or channel were a blank screen with emu turned on let it 24 hour turned it on i didnt have to rescan or anything :-)

Ok got my channels back, for some reason when doing an auto scan I had to select CHORUS as opposed to NTL which usually works, oh well channels back!

Im in the belfast area aswell, i was on v1.07 was scanning and picking up channels fine, but i was only getting freeview channels, when i went to a subscription channel it just had a black screen, no picture, when i realized there was a newer version, i factory reset and switched to v1.12 yesterday, after doing so i still encountered the same initial issue, anyone got any solutions! Im using the starview 4 super usb box.

do a factory reset

let it reboot, install on chorus, rather than ntl

menu 1570, keycode on

and that should be you
