    Starview 2 Lost Channels

    Hi Fellow members

    As i am sure a lot of you are aware Vermin zapped our boxes a week or so ago (Warwichshire area) removing some of our channels and left a nice message saying give them a ring and they will sort a deal no questions asked. I havent lost all my channels which suggests i hve not been hit with nag 3 and to be honest the channels that are missing i can live without. If this is all that vermin are going to then then fine but i think this is the beginning of a drawn out shut down process. Anyone know if i am right.

    I did lose Sky 1 which the ball and chain is moaning about so if anyone knows a way to get it back please let me know.

      Hi is anyone having trouble loading up BBC3 & 4 on 219000kHz cos I am. I get all the other(well almost) channels including obscure stuff that I could not give a tinkers cuss about but BBC 3 & 4 stubbornly refuse to appear. I've scanned endless times reset to factory settings etc. etc., done a manual scan over ALL the providers...but nothing. I am absolutely flumoxed. Have I got a box problem or what? Anyone help.

          all depends what time of day you scan.. bbc3/4 are not 24 hr channels..

              thanks boomer39 but belive me I have scanned umpteen times well after program transmissions starts i.e. after 8pm in the evening. I've also tried different providers TW,Chorus,NTL & C&W etc with absolutely no success. This one has me absolutely stumped cos as said All the other channels appear there and operational. I got so fed up with this that I did a SW transfer from me mate(same Box everything) who's BBC 4 &3 worked, but ........aagggh still refused to work on my Box!

                  Check CBBC and Cbeebies after 7pm as some areas share the same channel space.

                  If your area has NGTV enabled and cards on the way or there, iy wont be long before all channels are gone.

                      have you looked after ch 999 upwards . may be there...
