Hi, can anyone help please. My starview 4 has stopped picking up channels. does anyone know how to get them back please?

some more info needed mate. what are are yopu in for starters. are you sure you have not been switched to n3 ?

basically i have had my box for about 12 months now and can now only access channels 1-5.

i was lead to believe that virgin were slowly but surely scrambling all but i have friends with eurovox boxes who are having no such trouble.

N3 or nagra 3 is vermins new encryption which is being rolled out across the uk,Nagra 3 will make non vermin boxes useless and there is no fix for this.
There are plenty of posts on here about nagra 3 and the areas affected.It is only a matter of time b4 all of the UK switches over to nagra 3

Have you tried a rescan or a factory reset then rescan?
Also what firmware are you using?

tried facvtory re-set and then re-scanning, just gets me terestrial tv. not sure what firmware, how do i find out? also are there different ones?

After you did your rescan did you access the secret menu and turn the keycode on?
To check what firmware you have,go into menu then system set up.The latest firmware for the box super usb (or starview 4) is 1.12,available in the download section at the top of the page.
