Hi

I have just got a Starview 4 Box without any new firmware added and i only get basic channels. I then heard that this box is now obselete. is this true ? can anyone help ?

Hello

First check if your area has been hit by nagra 3,(have a look in the general cable forum in the red stickys at the top of the page saying "areas receiving new cards") if it has,your box along with all non vermin boxes are now useless,If your area hasn't been hit yet,You may need to download new firmware onto it,its in the downloads section at the top of the page,the latest firmware is 1.12,But try a rescan first or a factory reset then a rescan,Make sure the key code in the secret menu is turned on after you do the rescan.
