Hi does anyone know if I get this box how long it will last for?

I just didn't want to pay ?220 and it goes down within a week or so. it says on the website futureproof.

also as it is connected to the internet how does it work, does the box stream it from the net (IE: if I watch a few shows will virgin cut my broadband off for using too much bandwitdth)?

My advise... dont waste your money on buying this box m8, it has too many problems that the starview team just cannot fix.

Nobody knows how long it will last as the server could be shut down at any time. You take the chance.

You will need the box connected to the net all the time to view channels and VM can track you it you have their BB.

A better choice would be the Kryptview a750/a780 which has much better support and is working well.

I have virgin BB, can they still track me if i get the kryptview a780? or is it just Starview?

Vm will be able to track you if you use any of the above receivers. Dont forget you will have to be logged onto the server for as long as you view channels.
