starview 2 the box picture breaking up

hi can anyone help I have a starview box were the picture keeps breaking up I have lost most channels including bbc an itv is there a fix for it or is it that the box is now old would appreciate some help

Have you tried a factory reset then rescan,Also remove any splitters,if that fails,make sure you have the latest firmware installed.
Also what area do you live in as it may have been hit by nagra 3,search for areas receiving new cards to see if your areas been affected yet.

breaking pic suggest not enough cable signal getting to box, check your cable wire is connected properly into back of box

would help if we knew your area, my boxes have been iffy for a few days,think its a vermin problem...all ok now....

if all of above just not work, try in a house where someones box is working well, if you get same issues, yours tuners ~~~~ed, time for bin.
