the starview 4 usb is a really good box in my opinion, had a shot of a dreambox and it used to freeze up and go out of sync.

Does it freeze when u r channel hoping ?

nope its never frozen on me (yet)

it didnt work with firmware 1.02 kept freezing on me when scanning for channels and when i looked at channels MOST didn't have sound so I factory reset and installed 1.01 everything works great since doing that.

in my limited experience

dreambox: slow to channel change, very slow on full channell scan, buggy, crashes and audio video goes out of sync at least every 40 minutes

starview 4: no problems to report yet
