    That's the nature of forums, people ask questions. There is never a stupid question, but I have seen some stupid answers.

    they should try and hack the firmware allowing everyone to use their own server.
    As said above why waste time trying to disassemble the SV firmware? There is nothing of use to take from the user bin file.
    they just want 100% plug and play
    They are willing to pay for a plug and play box, that is up to each individual, not all are in it for a hobby. Free TV is a business model that works for the manufactuers, suppliers, etc.

    its all experience and education.
    Indeed sharing some of both is why we have forums of this nature.

        But there would be useful stuff in the on board atty.

        As for the dream box well its been in the loft for almost 2 years. Got fed up messing with cable boxes, linux boxes and just pay for what I watch now.
        Only messing with it at the moment as purely educational.
