the cam fix ?

hi guys i just gor a 9pin null cable and followed the instructions for the mac fix and it didnt work so im posting here for a bit of help on it ?
i only have 1 com port, i have followed the ins perfectly but it is not clocking up the %
my mac is FF;FF;FF;FF; BUT I CANNOT CHANGE IT BACK ? i have the svhd lan box plugged into power and the 9pin pluged into both pc and box it just wont work ?
can any1 help me here ? what am i missing ?

its a brand new cable and the box is not dead so this should work shouldnt it ?!
after choosing "HD300N_SC_RS232_1.bin" then turn on the box with rear switch ????????????? and nothing

please has any1 had this happen ?

so iv just installed xp to see if it did any good and "NO" it didnt , and i could not edit my mac either it just doesnt work for me.

memorized to death pal iv tried it all ways now, the way the tut says and turned on 1st turned on during & on off on ?

damn after reading all the happy people that have used this fix i thought it would work but nobody has mentioned a mac with FF in it ???

you must tell it which port to use then press connect,then when connected to the right port download the file to the box.

I did exactly as it said also but i couldnt find HD300N_SC_RS232_1.bin , i used the one which was rarred up with the HD-200.exe Downloader which was HD300N_SC_RS232_1013.bin it finnished at 100% and it looks like its bricked my box i only got a green light on front and nothing else happens. if anyone has any more info or help on this please pm me
