    power supply mmds issue

Hi guys hows everyone?.guys a bought an mmds power supply from a site last week, recieved it today, wired it up an plugged everythin in,turned on the box-t,scanned and found no channels.got a loan of my mates ch***s power supply and everythin fine.checked the signal wit the power supply i jus got and its only at 33% an flashes back to 0.The p/supply is a proception proPSU112X.The book that came with says its an unregulated product, not suitable for powering masthead preamplifiers an similar which require a 12v regulated supply.is this where my problem kicks in?..anyone help me fix this as its driving me crazy the last month lookin at the box sitting der!!Many Thanks...

Hi and welcome to the forum. Looking at your type of power insertor it seems to output 12V. 12V is the minimum for MMDS but you need to got to 18V in most cases. I am not on MMDS so haven't used that particular model.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams
