Starview 1570 menu?

Hi All

Im a newbie to these Starviews 4 PVR

I have done the auto scan found the channels but when i press menu 1570 nothing happens no hidden menu

Model ID C 500
S/W Version 1.03
Boot Version b-11
Date oct 17 2008

Any help would be much appreciated

You need to flash the firmware 1.1 beta to the box as box is only loaded with free to air software

I have exactly the same problem.

In the download section I can only find firmware 1.02 here:
Digital Kaos - Downloads - Startup Pack For The Box Super USB

Where can I (we) find 1.1 beta? Is it on this site somewhere?

I suppose I should assume mcgeoff must mean 1.01.

Since my last post I have uploaded 1.02 to my box (both bin files).
Now I can get to the secret menu I do not have an "emu" option.

I only have the following on the CAS SYSTEM menu:
* Nagravision (Provider ID, Key Number, Key Data)
* Set Default Key (appears to save something)
* KeyCode (Yes or No option)

can anyone help me?

Can anyone tell me why my BBC1 is set to BBC1 Wales?

Can anyone tell me why my ITV is set to UlsterTV?
Can anyone tell me why the sound on some channels is very strange and digitised.........seems to happen repeatedly on 124 <Watch>?

Thank you mrsouthg i was having the same problem and could not sus it out - i was setting the keycode to on but then i was pressing ok i did as you said pressed ok in set default key and it worked - i get all the chanels now but i am having trouble with no sound on most of them is any one else having the same problem

got it working

i turned it off and switched it off at the back connected my box pvr up again so that i could record american chopers on Discovery when that finished i reconnected the starview 4 back up and the sound came on i could not beleive it - i had been messing around for hours trying to get the sound to work and all it needed was a cold reboot (dummy me) it was that simple checked out recording with my kingston 4gig stick it worked a treat tryed
it on my pc but they are ts files or something like that that must be what the other 2 files in the download are for so you can watch them on your pc shame they ware not mpeg files i could have converted them over to dvd going to try recording to my liteon DVD HD recorder later but at the moment i am well pleased with it
