Starview 5 usb 2 issues

Hi

i have a couple of issues with my box

I have plugged my verbatim 1gb usb pen into the back of box but it does not pick it up.Have tried to format fat32 on pc a number of times but had no luck. can anyone help why usb pen is not being picked up by my starview 5 box?

No channels been found when i plug my cable wire in also tried with skycable unable to pick any free to air channels. can anyone help?

it is a cable box not a sat box,are you scanning right provider and also read up on nagra3 as if your on that it wont work.
