    Starview 4 the new usb

    Hi, I have just purchased the Starview 4 box and have a virgin cable connection. I have scanned for channels under ntl and it has scanned all the channels ie skysports etc but I can only view the free to airchannels the other ones have a $ sign next to them.

    I have also followed advice and tried the the secret code 1507.

    I assume to see the other channels I will need to download the newest software. Would this be version 1.12?

              Yes your box needs the V1.12 firmware to work properly

                  I've just downloaded the v1.12 and uploaded onto my box as a BIN file, done a rescan but still no joy. Still have the dollar signs on all the non free to view channels. Any ideas guys?

                  I've even tried a factory reset

                      have you gone back into menu/1570 and turned keycode on then hit set default key, exit out and put on Sky Sp 1 and hopefully it will update
