the box super usb "no signal"

hi guys
just got my starview box
has scanned all the channels and saved except won't show any..
says no signal.
if i press the signal button it shows no level and no quality both 0%
also says unlock at the top
any ideas before i stamp on it and throw it out the window

Have you flashed it? If you have, press menu, type 1570 on remote, turn keycode on. Exit to Sly Sports and let it update.

yeah
installed the beta 1.02
searched for the channels found them (after stoppin at 84% 50 times)
but any channel just says no signal
when you press your signal button does it say unlock on it?

It will say lock with a signal level. Is your keycode on? If it is press menu, type 1570 on your remote and press default key. Exit all the way out and see if it updates.

If you are still having problems try 1.01. Press menu - system set up - system info and post what it says please.

Yes its flashed fine. Make sure you carry out a scan from the direct feed, i.e no splitter. Where are you located roughly as some areas have had problems scanning with 1.02.

i have been scanning through a booster...
in south manchester
i was on ntl but have to scan tw to get anything...

Have you tried a scan without the booster?

have tried without the booster, no joy
have tried v.01, no joy, same problem
think the problem is the "unlock" that appears when i press the button that shows signal strengh.
any ideas how to unlock this?

this is a strange one because if your able to scan for channels then your feed seems to be ok or it wouldnt find any channels.

if you've got it pluged into the main feed (normally living room/lounge area) then theres no reason for you to use a booster.

i also live in s/manchester v1.02b doesnt work correctly it stops like you said and gives sound issues, use v1.01b ..

after scanning can you get bbc1 ok or any other free2air channels

Press S.L. on any channel other than FTA and post what it says. As you say you have also used 1.01?

says the same on fta as sky sports
blank screen 0% signal and quality

don't get any channels....

struggle to scan all the channels on v1.01
keeps stopping at 30% ish

the channels it does show are just blank then after a few seconds, flashes up no signal

Do you have a subbed (VM) box and is that OK?
