channel scan

hi folks..i've had starview 4 box today..when i scan for channels its freezes at 74% and doesnt move..its always seems to be on the qvc channel..i have done a few factory reboots but it always seems too be at that spot..i am using tw channel as that seems too have the most channels..any advice pls would be most welcome

which firmware version are you using .. if 1.02 try 1.01 .. my box upstairs has 1.02 and does the same gets stuck now and again .. also make sure that you autoscan from the main feed with no splitters used so you will get the best possible signal ..

have u tried a factory reset first,power off box at back/on and autoscan again,do not scan thru splitters.
