starview hd combo+.help please.

hi everyone,new to these kind of forums, and need your help.got a starview hd combo+ box yesterday,now i can use this on cable and thanks to sky putting a dish up for all the flats on sat,i scanned the cable side and only get fta channels,so i then scanned the sat side,got a lot more channels but most of them are scambled,i know i need a card share for this,if any one knows a good one.i also went into system information,and this what came up.model name=grooverider combo+.software version=ver f 4.00,ldr:ver 00.21.hardware version=ver 01.20.last update=dec 12 2009.do i need to upgrade my firmware,and if so how do i do it,also wich ones, keep it simple please,the ip looks ok all the numbers show up.is there a setting ive missed out,in the box.please remember im thick and new to this,but your help would be great.sorry for the long post.cheers.notts area

Cable side is not of much use to you no longer. However the Sat side you can explore furthest.

thats all been done satsmo i think b4 i got box i followed your instrctions from, accessory i dont have to press 8989, keyedit is already there.in the key edit i have four settings key edit,nothing at side of it,but when i press ok something called cas type comes up,under keyedit is reset key data nothing at side,under that ucas=on,under that ucas autoroll=on.are these settings correct?.do i need to load any more up to date firmware,or can i just go ahead and card share.i cant find one for cable combo they seem to all be dremboxes,or would it work just the same .cheers mate and thanks for replying.
