sv6 error 816

has anyone got the same issue as me with a starview 6, upon boot is displayes booting >c113 > clr then displays 816 and freeses with no display on the box??

iv attempted trying to boox from a usb with new firmware by leaving a usb in the back but with no avail, anyone help please

ive got the same issue today with the starview 6 being stuck in the 900 channels and not being able to get into menu screen.is there a fix for this via the rs 232?
any ideas anyone please thanks

just found this and it works


If you have a starview 6 that powers up and the LCD screen shows --:-- but will not display a picture on T.V this is how you fix it.

1. switch box on wait for a few seconds untill booting has finished.
2. Press MENU on remote
3. Press DOWN ARROW BUTTON once
4. Press RIGHT ARROW BUTTON once
5. Press DOWN ARROW BUTTON twice
6. Press O.K BUTTON twice

Hopefully the box should reboot and the display should come back on.
