    Starview 6 freezing - help needed

    I have only had my box about a week & it's been fine but
    now the picture keeps stopping freezing for a few seconds then returns to normal,
    Can anyone tell me if there is any settings i can alter or if a N router would work any better than the one im using which i think is an B/G router.
    Or is this a factor of the bad weather?
    I have the Carling 1.10 UPS file loaded, Is the file Carling+0712UDA file a newer version has posted in the Lan and Non Lan combo post?
    Thanx Everyone

        Make sure you have latest firmware for SV6;
        Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 6 LAN CARLING-1.03
        Press info to check signal levels. Make sure all cables & connections are OK. Not paying basic TV sub may cause weak
        signal

            just seems to be the sv6

            this seems to be only happening on the sv6 as sv7 is freeze free.
            looks like im changing to the sv7

                There are widespread reports of freezing with SV7 boxes. One
                basic requirement with any box is to have strong cable signal to
                minimise freezing
