hi to all, i have a starview 4 - the super box and i have lost all channels apart from fta channels as of this lunch time. I live in the oldham area in lancs.
does anyone know if there is new firmware available, using v1.12 or was, or is there a box available either standard viewing or HD that beats nagra 3 in this former N*L area.

please help anyone.......

A good many on this site are recommending the kryptview A780 Box,
I Myself Have a Starview 6 Lan Box & at the moment it keeps freezing up for a few seconds.
Starview 6 lan are About ?90
I Believe The Kryptview A780 when available are about ?150 -?160,
Both boxes work through your internet provider so you need a descent bandwidth.
Check out and search a few posts before buying anything though.

thanks for your reply....will take a look. was working fine up until lunch.

need a quick replacement as it is used to display in a public house so needed intime for footie at the weekend.
i only use a mobile broadband stick but has reasonable speeds so not sure if that will be any good

Mobile stick wont work i don't think because it connects through your router Via ethernet cable.
Your other option is to link your Tv to your Pc Then Use
Virtual season website posted in the Sports Section in the Message, Lost all your chanells, The message has red stars by it.
The site is Fantastic quality for games & they Have put a free code in the message for us to use.

thanks for that. used to use romulation for n*s games, but that was taken off after nintendo caught up with them. still do it for other platforms.....not much of a gamer myself
