Stopping the freezing File

Hi Everyone,
I have just installed a new file on my box from another site that says fixed the freezing of our boxes,
i will update on the file afte 5pm today and let you know if it as fixed the problem.
I have had my box running already for an hour & aint had a freeze, (usually every couple of mins)
& if anyone knows if it will be Ok to Upload the file into downloads section if it works OK.

if its a server issue,nothing will change.

Its NOT a just a Server issue, It's a NEW software Update.
I loaded it onto the starview 6 Lan & working fine at the moment
but time will tell.

I'm Not winding anyone up guys,
i know we think it;s a backward file but check the link & the date of the file, the link was posted on another site with the message to stop the freezing, I can honestly say my box hasn't froze at all since i put it on,
Surely one of the mods can confirm this file & not just people guesing about it.

Yes Carling 1.01 is the latest file for the SV6. It has an updated Cam fix and minor bug fixes. But it does not resolve every issue with the box.

How long it will remain glitch free is hard to tell, but given the history of the servers, (upload and download), I wouldnt hold my breath.

{sorry flea3764 i did not mean to say that you are winding us up,} { just that we don't hear some thing good about sv 6,} [cos every body is having a go at it all of the time there go on about kypview 780, i have uploaded new carling 1.10 on to my sv6 lets hoping it does not freeze, keep you posted,

My box has been fine & it was terrible, I even posted a message ( have i wasted my money) touch wood this has sort it out.

If you get a trouble free few months out of it, then it has essentially paid for itself.

I am not a fan of any form of paid CS on sat or cable, whether it is bundled with the box or bought as a separate line.

But everyone has their own informed opinions on what to buy and what to steer clear of.

Down loaded 1.01. on to usb then on to sv 6 working ok c what happens when i watch footy over weekend,
