        starview 6 bridge

yes thats correct,my router is upstairs and my starview box is downstairs, dont want to use long ethernet cable, and i bought another router to bridge, but it didnt work, so my last attempt is using my laptop as a bridge, the starview has worked fine when i connect it direct to ethernet cable from router upstairs, but need it downstairs

I've connected it to my wifi via the laptop..

Connect the box to the laptop via ethernet then do the following

          Open Network and Sharing centre
Click on the 'Wireless Network Connection'
          Properties
          Sharing (tab)
Allow other network users to connect through this internet connection

should start working in a few seconds ..
