starview 6 combo hd lan, help needed,please

hi all, just got this box and flashed with carling 0712, the box is working fine but i do not recieve all the movie channels in hd or sky sports

i get espn, living, bbc etc

should i be recieving these channels? anyone within the m25 getting these channels or are they simply not on the server?

also, i a cannot put on the grooverider file it aborts after 20% is this because i have put the carling on first?

any help would be apprciated

from what Ive read the sly movie and sport hd channels aren't on the server YET, TBC on the date though

also you should of installed grooverider first then carling after, there should be a fix to your problem but have a read around the starview section to get to grips on what to do

why do i need to install grooverider when most channels work with the carling firmware? i dont get it why do you need the two? what would i get ectra with the grooverider and carling firmware both on the box as oppose to just the carling firmware like i have now?

there is no sv6 hd box,are you using correct firmware for box.

there is only a sv6 cable box or hd cable or satellite box each have their own file/.

aaaahhhhh this box is doing my head in. it is a starview hd combo with lan.

i have flashed the box with the latest carling software first now i cannot get the grooverider firmware on the box

i have plenty of channels but not the hd movie channels.

what is the grooverider firmware for? and why does it always stop at 20% no matter where i get the firmware from it always does the same and stops at 20%

is this because the carling software is on it?

dont get me wrong the box is working but it has no grooverider firmware, what is the grooverider firmware for and why cant i get it on and do i really need it!

try putting oldest software in m8 then try new i did this and worked

you mean put the oldest carling firmware i can find then loading the grooverider file? did this work for you?

if so please tell me what version firmware for carling you installed and what grooverider file?
