im thinking about buying a starview 6 off someone i know all he needs to do is deliver it to me set it up once he has set it up do you receive all the sports channels ans movie channels , also living etc, and are the as good as people make out they are i know you need a cable feed wire the one that goes into your virgin box and also the internet , i just wanted some advice off othe peeps off here what they are like before i buy one thankyou. femmym

firstly you have to ask yourself why is he selling the box if hes getting all the channels and no problems, this box works by c/s (cardshare) which is fairly new on cable ( its been done for ages on sky now ) the kryptview A780 is a better box for this, but both boxes are unproven on how long they will last, as the servers may get shut down at any time, the boxes are working atm as i know peeps who are doing it, but its your choice, personally i would pay up to sky or virgin for a package for a year and see what happens in the mean time, i cant see virgin letting the c/s servers run riot after investing millions in their new encryption.
