hi folks.i have finally had a starview 4 box..and wanted too know if i have too have connected through my v-media box to stop it being discover'd ..i e do i have to have a splitter running with it..hope this makes sense to you all .thx in advance

Its advisable to use a splitter to keep the VM box online. The SV4 like all other boxes has no talkback so you are fine.

No need to go through the VM box just use the splitter to split the incoming line to both boxes.

like satsmo says, i have my original VM box in 1 of the kids bedroom and 2 SF4 boxes in other rooms
