could be a server problem,try a factory reset,and a fresh scan without lan connected,re read the tuts for scanning and u stream info,then plug lan in when finished and reboot box and router.

hi cactikid can you say me if Starview 6 is working in nag3? and if is working the all thing is to instal carling firmware, connect the box to internet and set up the box as the instruction. and thats all? or i need to do something more?

cactikid i have a starview 6 and the firmwire carling 1.01 but all channels gone have i done somethink wrong or are you talking about the lan port any help would be great thanks

You do have it plugged into your router don't you ?

starviews are known to give more problems than people want servers are up and down=loss of channels.
scanning for channels you need the lan removed and is only put back in when finished scanning,reboot both box and router
for it to work.

Will the Starview 6 Lan (1.30 MB) file sort out the glitching Im currently using carling-1.00.0 - ukc (may08) and when the football is on its constant glitching and scrambling at times 2-3 times a minute thanks in advance

sounds like over loaded server when footy is on,for others they get a blank screen

well up to last week it had a great track record and now server maintenance,not sure if its finished on maintenance but people dont have the latest firmware on box and dont factory reset and scan.kv also scans in sleep mode,starview dos not
starview servers crash when footy is on=blank screen.

My apologies if it looks like I am hijacking this thread but I have only ever had a Pace, dreambox and eurovox boxes so these two makes are completely foreign to me and fascinating to me at the same time. The KV & SV are both using cardshare servers to provide their services so is it not just a matter of time before they are tracked down and closed down or are they beyond reach of VM in this country?
