Does anyone know if FTA 1.03 firmware for starview 4 is all i need to turn my starwiev box into a Freeview box. Really doing my head in now that nagra 3 has kicked in here in Wales and only have 5 channels at the mo. Its like being back in the 80's. Any help would be much appreciated!! x

You will only get 5 free chls. on cable systems. All other chls. are
encrypted. You need a sat. box & dish to pick up all free chls.

Does freeview work with sv4 box? or what other use is there for this box now appart from the weird random channels you get from virgin?

Or should I sell it and go to good old freeview box?

im still gettin most of the freeview chnls on my sv4!! abit slow in tunning in but they r ther. i dont think n3 is all its cracked up 2b and b4 long (hopefully b4 xmas ) the cookie will crumble.... woohoo

when did your sports etc go off?? if recently, the rest WILL follow. assume you still believe in father christmas...?
