starview 6 Lan Question

Just a quick question if anyone can help.
Can the SV6 Lan be connected to a sky dish to get all the PPV
channels or would a normal outside aerial connection be ok,
The guy its for doesn't have cable installed,

With a liitle more detail ...

3 digital video broadcasts tuners that are inside the boxes are

DVB-C = cable
DVB-T = terestrial
DVB-S = satellite

then if you see any ov the above with a 2 after it then its a high deff tuner IE (DVB-S2).

as your starview has a cable tuner in it (DVB-C) then it wont work with any of the others , the exception to this are boxes with swapable tuners

I know im in wrong forum but any idea if technomate TM500 will work on sky sat dish, he was going to send technomate back because not sure how to setup or what files to put onto it so was going to get SV6, Thats why the original question.

Whatever box you use it needs a sat tuner if you want to use it with a sat dish.
