Hey all

I have just got hold of 1 of these boxes and just need to know how i can adjust the picture quality as i have a 50" tv and the picture is really bad it seems the picture is made of blocks ive tried adjusting the picture on the tv itself but its the same any help would be great thx

dont think you think mate unless you make the resolution smaller picture quality isnt the best on these boxes if you willing to fork out for a 50" tv you should of forked a bit more for the subs

yes thanks for the input, not really the answer i was looking for really, so because i saved really really hard to by a decent tv i should fork out for subs as well ???

There is no reason why the picture quality on a big TV shouldn't be perfectly acceptable.

Try some different leads and make sure the signal strength/quality from your cable feed is okay.

Check your screen format in OSD Setup section of the Menu.

Put it on 16:9. It's automatically sets to 4:3 but that looks blocky and compressed on my telly.
