starview 7 hd combi lan

i just got the starview hd combi lan ,loaded it with groove rider and carling, done channel scan, all channels are in epg list but apart from FTA channels all are scambled.
went on network settings click ustream for uk but it wont connect.
It keeps saying login failed error code 0.

any one know whats wrong with it?

starview 7 is not the hd box,combo is sat/cable hd make sure correct file is used,have you looked at the tuts for setting it up?

thanks for reply, just read some info on another site,
it said install grooverider 1214.uad then carling 712uad.
where are the tuts and have i kanackerd it?

i just installed 1 thing on mine think its carling n it works i neva did 2 seperate ones

ive read on a couple of sites now about these errors when trying to connect, noone seems quite sure what it means.
ive tried factory reset and put carling file back on but still the same.
i think it will work if it would connect, i have a starview 7 and that works fine.
anyway can you give me the link as to where you got your firmware from incase mine is corrupt?

what ever u do dont load hd combo firmware onto a starview 7 or vice versa make sure the file is intended for the correct starview or u will have a very expensive paper weight

yes mate i know not to mix files up, it does say the starview 7 box is fine......

right.
i have sorted the problem and thought id say what i did as other people are having the same problem.
if all your channels are there and they are scrambled.
click menu/network/ipsetup.
make sure all the numers are there for ip address subnet mask ect....
now goto network/csnet. if connection status says, login faild error code 0, you need to phone the place you bought it from , give them the serial number off the back of the box and they will phone starview.wait up to 4 days and it should connect. once connected all will be there.....

we got the same problem all $ signs next to the channel and dont no how to get rid of them to get the channels working any help?
