A few question before I buy Starview 7?

I am about to put a order in for starview 7 but have some questions first.

Will it slow down my internet if im on my internet?

Im not going to have a ethnet cable going all the way through my house so what's best a dongle or a homeplug?.

Is it compatible with virgin media?

Can they trace the feed?
