if your on about the sv 6/7 yes , but unlikely they going to bother, they will go after the servers, shut a server down and you shut a lot of boxes down in the process. you would be safer using a different bb supplier than virgin if your going down the c/s route.

yes it can ..... soz to hijac thread but its revelant... i wonderin about settin up a vpn to counteract this does anyone have a tutorial how to do this? and link to reliable servers

I don't belive that a router can connect to a vpn account...perhaps some can, but not seen one.
Once you connect to a vpn account, your IP changes to one that is controled by the vpn server, so its better than a proxy account. At this point your trace stops cold, once you enter the vpn server and you become invisible to everybody else. Nobody can see what your up to.
I use one every day.
