Menu - Option -networks - net application - select type ?Ustream(UK) or Istream(Ireland) - ok


From the main menu go to Utility and then press the right arrow button and select usb.

From the right hand side, you will see the grooverider file press ok on it and make sure to select SW+ALL DATA UPDATE..the machine will update and restart (don't pull your memory stick out until the machine has fully started up).

You now need to scan your channels, scan without splitters if using any,go to installation press the right arrow button again and go down to AUTO CABLE SEARCH.

All you need to change here is the symbol rate.
The symbol rate determines your area for example N*l is 6887, the other numbers are 6952 for Telepe** and EXc&w.
When you have selected your area go to start scan.

Once the scan has finished go to menu then highlight accessory and on the remote press the numbers "8989"
you will then see "K*yedit" appear on the right hand side, go to it and press ok and just check that auto update is on if its off turn it on.

Then go to to your channels by exiting the menu and pressing ok.. Select a scrambled channel and leave it until a picture appears.

PLEASE NOTE IT CAN TAKE UPTO 5 MINUTES TO UPDATE SO BE PATIENT.

have just got starview 7 box and dont get the option of ustream. only get ip setup, sw download or home stream set up ? Do I need to download the firmware first ? I also have the box connected by ethernet directly to router is this ok ? any advice would be appreciated as this is all new to me ! previously had eurovox.

have just downloaded guiness firmware onto mem stik, put in usb on box, but still no ustream option. If i go into usb it says c:fat32 with carling.1.03ups on line underneath ??? how do i get the ustream option as still only getting the other 3 ??? please help !!

also do i need leave the box connected to internet when putting the usb stik in ??

have managed to download firmware and found ustream, before i scan, can anyone tell me if i need to be connected to the internet to scan as am using splitter at the mo and advises not to when scanning so would have to disconnect inet to plug directly into box ?? and do I leave mem stik in usb or can I remove before scan now the box has rebooted??

Anyone offer any info on this do I need to be permanently connected to the net or just for the initial set-up, Also do i need to subscribe and pay to any groups.

its by neither mate. dont waste your time any more than you already have. you will get no channels
