Does anyone have issue were there starview 3 box were it crashes when its been on for over a hour and sports channels fail except ssports4?

I miss my tv

if any of you havnt been nag3d yet watch as much tv as you can enjoy it while it lasts!

though i still do get all freeview channels and a few movie channels so worth keeping the box

Not sure what nag3 is. I sometimes get all sky sports channel then after a hour or so it starts to crash but other channels like mtv ect still work and s sports4.
Also tryin to update new firmware with serial cable but a i dont have a old machine then i bought a usb/serial converter but the firmware only goes to com port 4 and wont recognise it Any ideas are this?

nag3 is a new encryption that effs us all... no fix,

been in the pipeline for 12 months...
where are you ? you may get some time left but very doubtful... the firmware on your box will be 8.02 or 8.04. thats it no more, end of...
try a system restore, and try with different providers.. might get some more life out of your box.. but not for long...
btw.. have a read on this forum... will tell you ALL...

Hello everybody, I am a bit confused, I have had my new cards for my virgin box but I have starview at the moment, set up by my son , so i can watch all my programmes, but the channels keep going off so he rescans them all in for me. Reading through the postings do I have to buy another starview box when the cards become valid for virgin please ? I read i need a starview 6 box is that correct please? Thanks.
