you have to wait for about 15 minutes after your first post for the server to update.. maca..

hi all, i'm a bit green to this but my sv3 is not showing any channels tried reseting and emu key but still wont work. i think i have 8.04 installed. any advice

make sure your scanning the right provder m8 . also press default key after rescan .

can someone please tell me if their is a newer starview the bix super update out their i have had the one for december it was working fine then i noticed some channels going like the asian ones etc.

als can someone please tell me which box has the most channels im in vm area. i find that the starview are easier to upgrade . i have'nt had any or tried anyother box . the word flashing just sounds hard to do. with the starview its just plug in the cable . well not quite as simple but those of you who have done it know what i'm talking about .

Probably just need a scan to get channels back m8.

delete all chanels and do a scan VM have been reslotting channels, and removing some channels

WellI am proud of myself , after reading through lots of previous posts I hooked up my Starview 3 last night to my laptop and downloaded the 8.04 firmware.
Followed the instructions and got the box working again.
So many thanks to all involved who share this valuable information with us.
Just one problem , and I have looked through previous posts and taken some info which I am going to try tonight but it would be good to know the correct answer.
I have most of the channels now but the free to air eg BBC 1 BBC2 etc I cannot get to work it just says "no signal" also Sly S 1 works fine but 2 & 3 just keep saying scrambled or bad channel- Any ideas ?
