WORKING SOLUTION FOR CHANNELS ON STARVIEW

There are too many people making new futile threads about not being able to get the channels working so i've made this thread for the newbies who don't know how to enter the keys manually. Now the link for KEYMASTER and the INSTRUCTIONS for entering the keys is in my signiture.

Now for those who can't seem to be opening KEYMASTER. It might just be that you don't have the latest Framework so go to this link

and download the .NET FRAMEWORK 2.0

sorry ive tried downloading the key master, when i download it and tr to open it, it says application error. please help

done all that, I live in the manchester area and I ave tried all the codes an nothing works

Have downloaded keymaster,WinRAR and done again from the links you've provided but when i run the keymaster.exe program from within WINRAR I get the keymaster screen that should show the codes but they,re all empty.I get the message that the website must be down.I've tried taking down the firewall and trying it but same thing happens.Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure you have no firewall of anti virus blocking it because it needs access to the internet. And if you get a program error download and install the NET FRAMEWORK 2.0 from the link i've provided


edit: If no one can get the keys working go to my link in the signiture and download the notepad. Which has the latest keys. I will do my best to upload the keys in a notepad format as soon as new ones replace the old ones. (i hope i am allowed to do this on the site because i am not actually telling anyone the keys ON this site)

Thanks for the link. When I read the Starview menu, I thought this updating milarky was going to be simple.. find out its only me who is simple.. LOL.

I have a Starview 2 box.. bought July 07 and never had to download an update... UNTIL NOW. (:-( . Can anyone tell me which is the most stable update, and the simplest to do... just one download if poss... and where to get if from.. and when I buy a nul modem lead, do I need female to female.. or can I use USB to female..??.. THanks

Tried turning firewall off and making sure WinRAR had access to internet etc, but still no joy.Do I have to turn off all anti virus software?I'm loathe to do that 'cos a Rapid Anti-virus program must of hitched a lift on some the programs I downloaded to try and get keymaster and it's playing havoc with my laptop at the moment.It keeps shutting itself down saying it is unauthorised and get rid of it,but despite trying just can't delete the bloody thing.

Just go on that link again and download the notepad that has the latest keys in it.

Thanks very much ansib for the codes. Channels back on with CW here in Manchester. Hopefully this problem doesnot arise again, its getting very annoying innit. Cheers mate, Sam!!
