Apologies as I don't have the user manual for this unit. I was wondering if there is a way to fast forward quicker than the 8x or skip by a few minutes.

fast forward on hd combo
hi all you need to do is fast forward for a second or two then press play and while the banner is still showing at the bottom of screen press and hold the right arrow button and it will slide through to what ever time you want, the banner must be showing when you do this.
