    starview 7

    how do you flash a starview 7,just a newbie with this box.had eurovoxbefore,, help

    hi,, you need to download, carling- 102 ups,,, put on a usb stick,,, put in usb back of box,, then follow instructions you should have with box,,

        anyone no if the starview 7 has a mac address
        as i cant seem to find one on the menu

          hi can anyone help im trying to put carling 1.03 onto usb stick and cant figure how ?

            how do i get this firmware onto usb stick can anyone explain or giv me a link i can follow cheers

              Download firmware & save to your desktop.
              Right-click on firmware symbol on desktop.
              Scroll down to SEND TO & select USB-drive, it may be called USB
              storage device or removable disc
              Firmware should copy to USB-stick
              Have a read of STVU 7 firmware & instructions in DOWNLOADS
              before you try setting up your box

                download the file CARLING-1.03-SV7 to your desk top,

                plugin your memory stick in to your pc or laptop,
                and open up the drive of your memory stick it may open by it salf,

                now press and hold left click botton on your mouse then move your mouse and drop the CARLING-1.03-SV7 file in to the drive of your memory stick then you will see its been placed in the memory stick drive done.

                      Look for Carling 1.03 Starview 7 Firmware.
                      Also read Starview 7 firmware & instructions(also can be found in DOWNLOADS)

                            On reading both of your posts you may not have read;
                            STARVIEW 7 FIRMWARE & INSTRUCTIONS
                            Go to top of this page click on DOWNLOADS
                            Then scroll down to STARVIEW--you will see link to Firmware &
                            Jnstructions. Starview 7.
                            Your USB-stick must be formatted to FAT-32 to suit Starview 7.
                            You can format USB-stick by inserting it in Starview 7 box.
                            Always power-off box before inserting or removing USB-stick.
                            If you have any files on USB-stick you wish to keep save them
                            on PC desktop as formatting USB will wipe USB-stick clean.
                            On Starvu 7 box press;
                            MENU--UTILITY--USB--FORMAT.
                            Once USB-stick is formatted look in DOWNLOADS--STARVIEW
                            Download Carling 1.03 Starview 7 FIRMWARE to USB-stick.
                            Now copy 1.03 Firmware to box using USB-stick.
                            Then follow instructions. Post back if you need any help

                              Mine is down as being FAT 16. I've done everything else but still scrambled.
