Just wondering if there was an update for the "Starview - The Box" that would autoupdate the keys. I know the version 4 has the fix.

Not yet mate, the starview 3 and 4 have fixes but not the other starviews yet. I have read on some sites something is being developed and on others I've read nothin in the pipeline yet!

I'd just sit tight and wait ( easier said than done i know) but the developers i'm sure will sort the fix out soon!

Does anyone else know if SV1 and SV2 are not going to be supported any longer by the excellent team of developers? Is it fact or fictions?

New to all this and very first post so be gentle. I have the Starview 3 Super Box with version 7.9. Can I just download the new firmware 8.2 or does it have to be in sequence before it will wor 8.0, 8.1 etc. Many thanks for your advice.

You can just update to new version no need to put others on

don't want to tempt fate but VM have been quiet this last several hours and the manual keys are still working, but couldn't agree more guys - roll on the update... There will be one, we just have to be patient.
