just wondering will the starview 5 work as a free to air reciever ? if so will i have to remove the 1.12 firmware?

You will only be able to receive channels 1-5 and that's about it.

hi, got withdrawal symptoms the other day and reconnected my sv3... did a rescan etc and got these channels....101-105. 106,143,174,175,300,400,470,601,612,613,701,741,85 6,888-892,997,998,999. then stuff after that... 3000+ .... lots of stuff but no idea what channels...
not f/view but better than i expected.....
