    Starview and N3?

I heard even starview will be going off shortly like the DBOX and Eurovoxs. Is there any truth in this? People are saying this is because VM will be changing over to N3 connection or something.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

    thanks

VM have already changed to Nagra 3 encryption. Kryptvu A780,
Stvu 6/7, & Ddigital-Duo use the LAN connection to connect to
internet to decode Nagra 3 encrypted channels. Providers may
devise method of closing off this workaround Nagra 3, and they
may not be able to close it off. It's a chance you take.

thank you for that mate. Which of the boxes you mentioned above do you recommend? and do they not require some sort of c/s?

why do you think kv is better =lasts longer and better supported, thats why i dont like keeping up with the jones.

                      THANKS guys,

I just checked on ebay KV 780 boxes are more dear. Their going for something like ?150 odd. Which is more pricey than SV. So if their better I might aswel invest in them?

Also are they as easy as SV to setup? as in installing the firmware and connect it to the LAN and start using it? is that all???

same connection that plugs into tv,but with broadband only you may have a weak signal if you intend to use a box
signal needs to be around 80 ish to work well.

to work best you need a live coaxial tv signal to scan and a lan connection
