i have starview combo + done everything by the guide still channels are scrambled it says HS NET STATUS DISCONECTED can anyone help everthing else is on.

Clearly a home network problem.

0. Go into sv menu press 8989 on remote
1. Go into sv menu and set ip address to automatic in network page. (Once you get up and running change it to manual or static as it will work better then)
2. Reboot your router Check your ethernet cable at router and sv box.
3. Go to sly 1 and wait about 30 secs.
4 If still not working replace ethernet cable.
5. If using home plugs or wireless ensure link lights are on.
6. Check free to air BBC etc to see if they are working.

thanks for that tried all what you said still the same problem took box to my mates who has a sv up and running the same problem there can you help any further .the free to air channels are working but none of the others

On the network page check that your mac address is not all zero's.

If it is use the mac fix in the downloads.

hi all, i know this is an old post but hoping some one might be able to help me, Ive tried everything in the posts on here but cant get my box connected i have NO red lights on the back the mac address is NOT all 000's, I'm running CARLING+, S/W Ver F5.31, LDR: Ver 00.21, H/V 01.20 PTC(ok), the cline is active as works on my other box and im totaly lost, any help very much appreciated, please bear in mind im new too all this so it could be somthing simple, thanks, john.

update: not sure how or why but did a factory reset for about the tenth time deleted all clines and started from scratch, inserted my cline did a channel search, and would you believe it it works again, the funny thing is hs status still says disconnected but at the side of my cline it says connected and is working so think ill lreve it at that, thanks anyway.
