Does the usb need to stay plugged in?

    Hello,

I was hoping someone could help me. I got a starview 7 yesterday and put the software on with a usb and it was working fine. I took the USB out and now the box is not working today. Does the USB always have to be plugged in?

If so, can the USB also be used for the PVR?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Nicole

You can take USB out after installing software, but turn you starview off first before removal.
you can check if software has installed properlyby looking in the menu.

USB can be removed once flash is complete & can be used for
recording. Always power-off box when inserting or removing USB.
To sort out your box power-off router & box. Then re-start
        router, then re-start box
